Providing Access - Global Teaching Project

We are grateful for the many educators that work tirelessly with us to help improve student achievement in the state of Mississippi. Among them is Dane Peagler, a teacher at Starkville High School, and a Supervisory Instructor for the Global Teaching Project.

Dane has taught numerous STEM courses at Starkville High School for the past 6 years, and currently serves as an AP Physics 1 and AP Computer Science Supervisory Instructor for our Mississippi Pilot Program. A graduate of Mississippi State University with a B.S. in Physics, Dane has received recognition for his teaching abilities throughout the course of his career, including the “Tireless Teacher” Award and “Starkville High School Teacher of the Year” from Starkville High School in 2018.

Most recently, he was honored as a State Finalist for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching in August 2019.

We are thrilled to have Dane on our team, and proud of the dedication, energy, and compassion he shows to all of our students.
