Photos from GTP’s 9th Annual Advanced STEM Summer Preparatory Program
Each summer for past 9 years, the Global Teaching Project has brought together students and teachers from around the state, and educators and tutors from across the country, for GTP’s annual Advanced STEM Summer Preparatory Program. The residential program, held at Mississippi State University, features immersive instruction to prepare students for AP STEM courses to be offered through GTP in the upcoming school year, with separate instructional tracks for AP Biology, AP Computer Science Principles, AP Physics 1, and AP Statistics.
Learning sessions include extensive hands-on activities, and are supplemented by evening projects and homework sessions, recreational activities, and workshops on college admissions and financial aid.
Thanks to the dedication of school administrators, teachers, students, and staff, the Program was a resounding success, with approximately 150 participants. We are pleased to share photos from that remarkable experience.
