Michael Acolatse

Anna Blanchfield is a junior at Harvard University studying Chemical and Physical Biology. This is Anna’s third year working with Global Teaching Project as a Teaching Assistant for AP Physics 1. Anna is currently conducting neuroscience research in Dr. Park’s lab and also has extensive tutoring experience in Algebra and SAT Prep. Brian Dolan has worked with the Global Teaching Project since its inception and on AP Physics 1 since 2017. Brian graduated from Yale University in 2020 with a degree in Physics, winning the Daniel Joseph Seigel Memorial Award and a Fulbright Scholarship upon graduation. At Yale, Brian was a member of the Education Studies program and participated in a number of educational outreach initiatives, including Matriculate at Yale and the Yale Education Studies Tutoring Initiative (YETI). He was also a member of the Yale Club Basketball and Varsity Football teams. Brian is originally from Bethesda, MD.
Nora Dolan

Nora Dolan is a law student at the University of Texas, and earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia. Prior to law school, Nora taught a variety of subjects at the high school level in Massachusetts and Texas, and was licensed and certified in those states. In Massachusetts, Nora worked through the Teach for America program in an underserved, high-poverty community, and, in Texas, at a KIPP public charter school. In both jurisdictions, Nora, who is proficient in Spanish, worked largely with students for whom English is a second language.

Born and raised in the Middle East, Zaid is a first-generation immigrant from Jordan. Due to his background, it is no surprise he has a deep passion for technology and software development, as it has provided him, and many other families like his, a way to communicate and connect with loved ones worldwide. As a Computer Science student at UVA’s School of Engineering and Applied Science with a minor in Data Science, Zaid is deeply excited by the freedom that programming provides him. He views software development and programming as the perfect outlet to combine his creative and technical sides and is thrilled to spend a summer working on projects that are efficient, beautiful, and which unite us globally.

Jake Flynn is a 3rd year student at the University of Virginia studying Biology and Entrepreneurship and is originally from Fredericksburg, Virginia. Outside of class, Jake serves as the Social Chair for the Phi Society fraternity in which he plans events for alumni and students at the University. Jake is also a member of the University of Virginia Cheer team as well as a member of the Cans To Cans fraternity run recycling club at the University. Olivia is a Master’s student at the University of Virginia studying mathematics. She joined the Global Teaching Project in 2019 as an undergraduate student in physics and math at UVa. Apart from GTP, Olivia is writing her thesis on expander graphs under the supervision of Prof. Thomas Koberda, and has done research on sampling algorithms with Prof. Marija Vucelja in the UVa physics department. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, hiking, and playing violin in the UVA Baroque ensemble.

Oso Ifesinachukwu is a recent graduate of Yale College, where he majored in biomedical engineering. A talented student-athlete, Oso played a key role on Yale’s nationally ranked, Division 1 (FCS) Football team. He was named to the 2022 Academic All-America football first team selected by the College Sports Communicators and was selected as a finalist for the National Football Foundation’s William V. Campbell Trophy, college football’s premier scholar-athlete award. Oso has worked with the Global Teaching Project as a Physics Teaching Assistant since 2019. He is originally from Austin, Texas.

Wyatt Kremer is a junior at Yale University pursuing the Intensive Physics major with a certificate in Egyptology. This is his second year with the Global Teaching Project as an AP Physics 1 Teaching Assistant, and he is excited to share his passion for finding the elegance within the equations and why it is powerful to have this raw understanding of the natural world. In his efforts to expand the physics community, Wyatt serves as a Co-Outreach Chair for the Yale chapter of the Society of Physics Students and board member of the undergraduate student advisory committee. He has broad interests in quantum gravity, field theory, quantum many-body systems, and quantum computing. Additionally, he loves collecting rocks and minerals and reading Middle Egyptian hieroglyphic texts in the original. Wyatt was born and raised in Minden, Nevada.
