Travis Reginal
Travis Reginal has worked in numerous educational settings, mentoring and educating youth from disadvantaged backgrounds. Mr. Reginal has written and spoken on issues relating to low-income, first-generation college students for a number of outlets such as the New York Times, PA Times, NBC News, and American RadioWorks. Mr. Reginal currently works at the Urban Institute, a nonprofit social policy research organization, where he conducts criminal justice, public health, and education research.
Mr. Reginal is a graduate of Yale College, where he studied sociology and education studies. Mr. Reginal was born and raised in Mississippi and is a product of the Jackson Public Schools District. Mr. Reginal and his wife, Alisha, reside in Washington, D.C.
